Join us on the Best of Morocco 9-Day Tour, a once-in-a-lifetime journey through the country’s imperial cities, majestic mountains, and the magical Sahara Desert. From Marrakech to Fes, Chefchaouen, Rabat, and Casablanca, this itinerary showcases Morocco’s most iconic destinations.

On Day 1, arrive in vibrant Marrakech, where a transfer from the airport to your hotel is included. Settle in and meet your group for a pre-departure meeting at 6:00 pm. Overnight in Marrakech.

On Day 2, discover the highlights of Marrakech with a guided tour. Visit the ornate Bahia Palace, explore the bustling souks, and experience the energy of Jemaa El-Fnaa Square. In the afternoon, stroll through the serene Majorelle Gardens and the Yves Saint Laurent Museum. Free time in the evening before overnight in Marrakech.

On Day 3, leave Marrakech and cross the High Atlas Mountains through the Tizi-n’Tichka Pass. Visit the famous Ait Ben Haddou Kasbah, a UNESCO site and film backdrop for Gladiator and Game of Thrones. Continue to Ouarzazate, the “Hollywood of Africa,” then drive through the Valley of Roses before reaching the scenic Dades Valley for dinner and overnight.

On Day 4, travel from the Dades Valley to the impressive Todra Gorges for a short walk among towering canyon walls. After lunch, continue to Merzouga, where your camel trek across the golden dunes of Erg Chebbi begins. Watch the sunset over the Sahara before arriving at a desert camp. Enjoy a traditional dinner, mint tea, music by the campfire, and sleep under the stars in Berber tents.

On Day 5, wake up to the sunrise over the dunes, then return by camel for breakfast and a shower. Drive through Errachidia and the lush Ziz Valley before crossing the Middle Atlas Mountains on your way to Fes, the spiritual and cultural heart of Morocco. Overnight in Fes.

On Day 6, take a guided tour of Fes, the world’s largest medieval city. Explore its labyrinthine medina, visit the vibrant tanneries and traditional workshops, and admire its historic mosques, palaces, and madrasas. In the evening, enjoy a traditional dinner with live Moroccan music and entertainment. Overnight in Fes.

On Day 7, depart for the charming Blue City of Chefchaouen, nestled in the Rif Mountains. Stroll through its blue-painted streets, shop for local handicrafts, and capture stunning photos of its medina and mountain views. Dinner and overnight in Chefchaouen.

On Day 8, travel south to Rabat, Morocco’s capital city. Visit the Royal Palace, the Hassan Tower, the Mausoleum of King Mohammed V, and the historic Oudayas Kasbah. Afterward, continue to Casablanca, Morocco’s largest city, for your overnight stay.

On Day 9, depending on your flight time, explore Casablanca with a visit to the impressive Hassan II Mosque and the seaside Corniche. A transfer to the airport is provided.

Discover the Best of Morocco on this 9-day tour from Marrakech. Explore imperial cities, the Sahara Desert, and the Blue City of Chefchaouen. Visit Marrakech, Fes, Rabat, and Casablanca, ride camels in Merzouga, and experience Morocco’s rich culture, history, and breathtaking landscapes.

Welcome to Morocco! Be sure to arrive in time for your pre-departure meeting at 6:00pm, an arrival transfer from Marrakech airport is included on day 1. Your first night will be spent at our pre-expedition hotel. Overnight Marrakech..

After breakfast, we will have our local guide to take us through some of the highlights of the city. The Bahia palace will be our first destination, this beautiful palace, built at the end of the 19th century by Grand Vizier of Morocco at that time represents a great example of the Moorish architecture. After that we will visit the Souks (Markets) to get to the famous square Djamaa ELfena, which is the central place for entertainment in Marrakech. After lunch in one of the local restaurant we will leave the old Medina and head North towards the Majorelle Gardens, very beautiful gardens built by Jack Majorelle during 1920s next door we will visit the famous museum of Yves St Laurent. The rest of the afternoon will be spent at leisure. Overnight in Marrakech.

This Morning we will start our journey by crossing the high atlas Mountain of Morocco and arrive at the old village of Ait Benhaddou, this village was a major stop for the caravans in the old days thus it become a UNESCO heritage site and as well it is used as background for many international movies such as Gladiators, Prince of Persia and Game of throne. Not too far from this village situated Ouarzazate, a city in the south of Morocco known as Hollywood of North Africa due to the number of Movies that were made in its film studios that we will have a chance to visit. On the way to Boumalen Dades, where we will stay for the night, we pass by the Roses Valley, a beautiful and evergreen valley very famous for the Damaskina Roses and people hold a festival every year to celebrate the harvest. Overnight in Dades Valley.

This morning we leave Dades valley. Along the drive, we will have photo stops of very panoramic views before we get to Toudra Gorges for a nice walk. Our Adventure will continue to get to the Sahara Desert where we will meet our camel team. En route we stop for lunch in one of the local restaurants on the road. Now, be ready for a unique adventure on the back of the camels crossing the sand dunes of Erg Chebi. While on the camels, enjoy breathtaking sceneries watching the colours of the sand dunes vary according to intensity of the light. After our journey on the back of the camels, we will get to our Berber camp at the Sahara Desert and you will have some free time. Enjoy an authentic Moroccan dinner washed down with some mint tea. Around the campfire, admire an evening entertainment preformed by the local nomads playing traditional Berber music. Our unforgettable journey ends up with a sleep under the stars.

After breakfast and shower in the Berber camp we will drive through the city Errachidia and the ZIZ valley that is very famous for Date palms. After, we will cross the High and the Middle Atlas Mountains that separate the Sahara desert from the interior parts of the country. We will get then to Fes the oldest capital of Morocco where we will stay for the night. Overnight in Fez.
Today we take the guided tour of Fes. Fes is the oldest and largest medieval city in the world. Its medina, home to 400.000 inhabitants, with only donkeys and bikes as a means of transportation, is a heady mix of aromas, sights and sounds. There are plenty of mosques and palaces to visit, but be aware that only Muslims can enter Mosques in Morocco. After exploring the dye-pits, tanneries, pottery and restaurants, we return to our hotel to freshen up for tonight, where we have the chance for a traditional meal and entertainment in the city with live Moroccan entertainment including traditional dancing, belly dancing and magicians. Overnight in Fes.
After breakfast we drive towards Chefchaouen (bleu city) that is a Moroccan popular tourist attraction and welcoming town situated in the Rif Mountains just south of the Mediterranean coastline in northwest Morocco. This nice bleu city is known for its traditional buildings. Enjoy a walk to explore the white and blue washed walls of the medina and the markets that offer some unique native handicrafts. Chefchaouen is a fantastic destination for photography with its wonderful views of the Rif Mountains. We will have dinner in one of the local restaurants in the medina before returning back to our hotel. Overnight in Chefchaouen.
This morning we will travel south to the official capital of Morocco Rabat. On the arrival we will have a guided tour of Rabat to see its highlights, we will start with the royal palace of Rabat which is the official palace for the king and the government, then Hassan tower and the Mausoleum of the Alaouite king Mohamed V and his son Hassan II, after that we will visit the Oudayah Kasbah, a fortified building used to be a place to defend the city from the invasion of the European countries, after the visit of Rabat we will continue to Casablanca for the overnight..
If you have extra time you can explore Casablanca and visit its famous Hassan 2 mosque and la Cornich, your transfer to the airport is at your disposal at any time of the day.
